At Parallax Gallery, we take great care in packaging and delivering high-value artwork safely to your door. Please review our shipping rates, packaging standards, and return guidelines below.

Shipping Policy

Complimentary Shipping

  • Eligibility: We offer complimentary shipping on all orders of $500 or more (before taxes).

  • Covered Destinations: Applicable across Canada and the Continental U.S.A. (excludes Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico).

  • Exclusions: Customs, duties, and import fees are not included in complimentary shipping.

 

Standard Shipping Rates

For purchases under $500, shipping fees are calculated based on size, weight, and destination:

Canada $35 – $200 CAD
U.S.A. (Continental) $80 – $300 USD

Note on International & Customs Fees: Customs clearance, import duties, and taxes are the sole responsibility of the receiver upon delivery.


Custom Packaging & Handling

To ensure your artwork arrives safely and undamaged:

  • All pieces are either encased in custom-built wooden crates or secured in heavy-duty reinforced shipping boxes (depending on artwork dimension and value).

  • Every shipment includes specialized protective layering and edge guards.

 

🔄 Return & Refund Policy

We want you to be completely delighted with your art selection. If you are not entirely satisfied, we offer a 48-hour return window for both in-person and online purchases under the terms below.

 

1. Return Window

Return requests must be initiated within 48 hours:

  • In-Person Purchases: 48 hours from the date and time of purchase.

  • Online Purchases: 48 hours from the confirmed delivery date and time (per courier tracking).

 

2. Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a refund:

  • The artwork must be in its original, undamaged, and unaltered condition.

  • All original packaging, documentation, COAs (Certificates of Authenticity), and accessories must be returned.

  • The request must be submitted within the strict 48-hour timeframe.

 

3. How to Initiate a Return

  • In-Person Purchases: Return the artwork to the gallery with your original receipt within 48 hours.

  • Online Purchases: Email us at info@parallaxgallery.ca with your Order #, reason for return, and photos of the piece within 48 hours of delivery. Our team will issue return instructions.

 

4. Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping and transit costs.

  • Returns must be sent using a trackable, signature-required, and fully insured courier service.

  • We strongly recommend reusing the original custom crate or protective packaging to avoid damage in transit.

 

5. Refunds & Non-Returnable Items

  • Refund Process: Approved returns will be refunded back to the original payment method within 7 business days following inspection.

  • Non-Refundable Fees: Original shipping, handling, and transaction processing fees are non-refundable.

 

Non-Returnable Items Include:

  • Custom or commissioned artwork

  • Sale, clearance, or promotional items marked as Final Sale

  • Artwork that shows signs of wear, handling damage, or missing documentation
